ABOUT THE ROLE:
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and executing end-to-end test suites and API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
The role requires expertise in automated testing frameworks, scripting, and working closely with development teams to build robust test solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites to validate complex workflows.
Implement and execute API tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of backend services.
Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and QA engineers to create comprehensive test strategies.
Develop and enhance test automation frameworksIdentify, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams to resolve them.
Perform performance and load testing of APIs and critical system components.
Stay up to date with emerging test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in test automation and software testing.
Strong expertise in writing end-to-end test suites for web and mobile applications.Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Proficiency in JavaScript programming language.
Experience with test automation frameworks (TypeScript/Jest/fast-check test suites).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Experience in working with databases and writing SQL queries for validation.
Experience with Node.js and JavaScript-related unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
