Familiarity with HR platforms (e.g., GreytHR, Rippling, Zoho, BambooHR, Keka, or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Strong familiarity with the consulting industry

Self-reliant, good problem solver, results-oriented with ability to act with highest urgency
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively

Job Summary:

 

We’re looking for a People Operations Manager

We are seeking a People Operations Manager to lead and scale our People Operations. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for overseeing all core People Ops functions—including employee lifecycle, compliance, office management, and culture—while acting as a strategic partner to leadership.

You’ll ensure seamless onboarding, build high-trust relationships across the organization, drive performance programs, and maintain operational rigor. This role also serves as the face of our Bangalore office, ensuring the employee experience is aligned with our culture and goals

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing People Operations Manager to lead our HR operations across India and the U.S. This role is based full-time in our Bangalore office and is responsible for driving onboarding, compliance, culture, and operational excellence. You’ll be a key partner to executive leadership and play a critical role in scaling a seamless, high-integrity employee experience across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Global People Operations & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle across India and U.S., including onboarding, offboarding, and employee communications
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and U.S. onboarding/documentation standards
  • Manage compensation cycles, benefits administration, payroll inputs, and personnel records
  • Drive automation across HR processes and tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual work (e.g., onboarding, performance reviews, documentation workflows)
  • Oversee vendor relationships for background checks, HR tools, and office support

Culture & Engagement

  • Foster a values-driven, performance-oriented culture across India and U.S. teams
  • Plan and execute engagement programs, milestone celebrations, and in-office team events
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring consistency of employee experience across geographies

Office & People Leadership

  • Serve as the primary leader of the Bangalore office, overseeing physical space, logistics, and team cohesion
  • Manage any junior HR support or admin staff as needed
  • Partner closely with the U.S. leadership team to align People strategy across regions

Compliance, Policy & Performance

  • Own global policy management and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal guidelines
  • Lead performance management programs and coordinate performance review cycles
  • Maintain clean and audit-ready documentation and digital records

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and global HR best practices
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across diverse teams
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Zoho, BambooHR, Keka, Gusto, Rippling)
