ABOUT THE ROLE:

Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, OCI Architect to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and extensive experience in presales, delivery, and program management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of architects, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of OCI projects, and driving successful presales activities. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Presales Leadership:

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling OCI solutions.

- Lead the creation of technical proposals, presentations, estimations, and demonstrations to showcase the value of OCI to potential clients.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on OCI architecture and best practices.

  1. Delivery Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of OCI projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans.

- Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

  1. Program Management:

- Lead and manage multiple OCI projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Develop and maintain program-level plans, schedules, and budgets.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.

- Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  1. Team Leadership:

- Lead a team of architects, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for team members.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Extensive experience in presales, delivery, and program management, preferably in the cloud services industry.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and core OCI services like compute, storage, security (IAM), Logging and monitoring, events and notifications, oracle functions, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Audit, Load balancers, Web Application Firewall (WAF) .

- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex OCI projects.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Relevant certifications in OCI or related cloud technologies are highly desirable.

- Creating the High-level design (HLD) and Low-level design (LLD) documents with logical and technical architecture diagrams.

- Strong skills in creating ROM, BOM, presentation decks etc.

- Strong leadership and team management skills to lead the team of different skillsets.
