Senior Software Engineer Apps : (Android, iOS)
As the Lead Software Engineer - Apps (Android and iOS) at Melorra, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mobile application development process. You will lead a team of skilled developers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive and efficient e-commerce apps. Your primary focus will be on building apps that are optimized for different phone sizes, processing capabilities, and data bandwidth constraints while delivering a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Android and iOS applications using React Native.
Architect and implement high-performance vernacular e-commerce apps, ensuring they are optimized for various phone sizes, processing capabilities, and data bandwidth constraints.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the delivery of bug-free and high-quality applications.
Continuously monitor app performance and optimize for speed, responsiveness, and resource usage.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate best practices into the development process.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Must Have Skills:
Proven experience as a software engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile app development using React Native.
Strong expertise in building Android and iOS applications, including knowledge of platform-specific features and nuances.
Proficiency in JavaScript and other relevant technologies.
Experience with optimizing app performance for varying device specifications, including memory and CPU constraints.
Familiarity with vernacular languages and markets is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Building AR App experience is a plus
