Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer with 2 TO 5 years of proven experience supporting complex onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
This role demands deep technical knowledge, leadership in engineering design and execution, and cross-functional coordination across the project lifecycle—from FEED to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and review of electrical design packages including power distribution systems (LV & MV), motor control centers, UPS, lighting, earthing, and protection systems.
Drive compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, ATEX) and project-specific specifications.
Perform load studies, short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and grounding system design using tools like ETAP.
Prepare and review technical deliverables—SLDs, cable schedules, equipment layouts, material take-offs, and installation drawings.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (instrumentation, process, mechanical, civil) to ensure integrated and optimized designs.
Provide technical leadership during procurement, vendor interactions, FATs, SATs, and technical bid evaluations.
Support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities at site; ensure safety and compliance in hazardous area environments.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
2 TO 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering for Oil & Gas projects—onshore, offshore, or both.
Strong knowledge of hazardous area classification and Ex equipment selection.
Proficiency in design tools like ETAP, AutoCAD, E3D preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
