About the position:
Designation: Sr Network Engineer

Location: Full Remote

Experience required- 8-12 years.

Reporting To:  Individual contributor role

Vacancy: 2

Compensation Expectation: $80 – 90/hr

Interview Processes- 3 technical (company + Client) + 1 HR

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Job Summary:

. Platform / Stack

You will work with technologies that include Python, Linux, and Arista.

Role of  Sr Network Engineer:

Analyse customer situation to develop requirements and gather technical requirements for the purpose of designing a network to be deployed.

Develop and provide designs in line with requirements.

Write High and Low Level Design documents based on gathered requirements for guidance and reference during and after network deployment

Implementation and migration planning detail and support

Write and execute test plans for the purpose of validating newly deployed networks once the deployment is complete in order to ensure new infrastructures are capable of carrying production network traffic

Work with customers to plan, write, and execute Methods of Procedure documents outlining steps to seamlessly migrate production network traffic from legacy infrastructure to the newly deployed Arista Network Fabric

Travel to customer locations as needed

Qualifications:

8+ years of industry experience focused on IP networksSpecializing in the design and deployment of industry-leading networking solutions

Ability to develop accurate and meaningful requirements

High-level and low-level design experience for Spine & Leaf infrastructure

Advanced network protocol knowledge, especially BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and SRLinux operating system and scripting knowledge.

Experience in delivering technical and operational training to customers

Basic/Advanced Python programming skills

Led and delivered several projects including greenfield implementations, complete migrations and integration efforts.

A computer science (or similar) degree

Prior Arista Hardware or EOS experience is a plusCCIE and/or JNCIE certifications/ equivalents, security certifications such as CISSP/equivalents

 

Must-Haves :

Network design experience for both data center and campus environments

Automation experience with Ansible or Terraform

Fluent in a scripting language

Past experience working for a professional services firm

Nice to Haves :

Arista Hardware or EOS experience

CCIE, CISSP, or JNCIE
