Job Summary:

We’re Looking For A Technical Program Manager.

As a Technical Program Manager, you should have a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to recommend growth strategies that will impact the bottom line.

Ultimately, the goal is to grow existing accounts by fostering a dynamic, long-term management partnership with our clients through referrals and top-notch customer service.

Day-to-day activities include communicating directly with client stakeholders, tracking key performance metrics, leading project teams, managing timelines & budgets, resource allocation, developing organizational charts and developing strategic roadmaps.

This is a very hands-on role and is responsible for keeping the operations team fully updated on all feedback coming from the client and ensuring that they adhere to client expectations.

The Technical Project Manager will also assign team members to specific tasks within the project and deploy resources, as needed, to support client engagements under their management.

The Technical Project Manager holds regular team meetings to review current work and make regular reports to senior management about how InRhythm team and customer relations are performing.

This individual will be responsible for managing resources and engagement as well as working with Practice Operations, Recruiting, Sales, and Finance to ensure that the projects are running at maximum efficiency and with the highest levels of client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

Manages projects within the team and across the program where EKMS co-works with other program teams to deliver large-scale solutions. Works across teams to organize and accelerate delivery, ensuring all teams are delivering in a coordinated manner.

Works internally to facilitate the Scrum agile processes and drive organisational lean-agile maturity.

Tracks and manages manifest definitions, release integration, timing, scope and delivery.

Proactively manages all dependencies, ensuring all outputs are production ready at launch.

Provides ongoing updates (with data) on the state of delivery.

Manage relationships amongst key partners by building confidence and trust with clear communications on all management levels and assured expectation management

Utilize roadmaps, project plans, and schedules to oversee all activities within delivery

Provide timely, consistent, and accurate reporting of the status of initiatives to stakeholders.

Develop and deliver necessary presentations including supporting documentation to all levels throughout the organization

Drive operational excellence while ensuring the successful delivery of projects against strategic priorities

Collaborate effectively with sales and externally with client stakeholders to provide seamless engagement support to the business

Serve as a critical point of contact for the customer and act as an escalation point for any consultant issues/engagement issues

Internalize client-centric requirements, while meeting with account executives to understand exact needs, and take the lead in getting the strategic resourcing completed

Own and manage resource requests across clients by validating requirements, searching for internal candidates, and presenting candidates for consideration in parallel with the talent acquisition team

Advise recruiting, account managers, sales, and executive leadership on how best to engage in the resource management processes, and make recommendations for improved outcomes

Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to provide a smooth onboarding and first-deployment experience to our new hires

Create burn reports and provide financial data to internal stakeholders and clients

Understand, internalize client-centric requirements, meet with practice head, account exec to understand exact needs and take the lead in getting the right teams in the right seats.

Optimize utilization and resource planning across the organization by making staffing decisions in support of the deployment strategy for the business or practice area, including new teams and those on the bench.

Understand margins and utilization across the company and be in the position to ensure that all teams are focused and filling the needs with these two metrics.

Utilize all available RM tools and resources to identify candidates and develop creative staffing solutions for open resource requests and open projects

Develop and maintain relationships with key practice, client and industry leaders, and leverage these relationships to maximize deployment opportunities for InRhythm engineers

Escalate sensitive or high-risk staffing situations to HR and executive leadership, as appropriate

Actively maintain one-on-one relationships with InRhythm engineers and consultants in order to develop a detailed understanding of their goals and preferences, as well as to provide deployment-related consulting and coaching

Requirements & Responsibilities

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Project Management, Resource Management, Consultant Operations for a Professional Services Organization3-5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master

Experience in Software (Web/Mobile/Cloud) Application project management Plan, execute, and deliver projects from inception to completion related to a known technology, product, or program.

Describes and maintains the integrated plan that accounts for internal/external dependencies, differing delivery approaches, numerous constraints, and contingency for unplanned delays

Secure resources, scopes efforts, outlines priorities and establishes delivery milestones

Proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work through the organization and all dependent organizations, reporting out progress, ensuring dependencies are covered, overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery.

Accelerates progress by driving crisp, timely decisions

Looked to as first point of contact for projects.

Can communicate with more senior staff with confidence.

Transforms raw thoughts into clear and concise communications.

Provides right information and associated data about the state of the project to the right audience at the right time.

Builds consensus and documents decisions.

Communications do not require interpretation/follow-up clarifications to understand.

Has experience in and understands industry technologies.

Understands their program, product, or Technology domain.

Sufficient depth/credibility to be effective with teams they work with.

Can competently represent team’s services to stakeholders and other teams.

May need to bring developers or SMEs to meetings to talk details

Delivers independently but will occasionally seek direction from peers/managers

Nurtures good working relationships with engineers, managers, and peers

Optimizes previously defined approaches for a team or limited area.

Can demonstrate improvements using data.

Utilizes department mechanisms (i.e. retrospectives, staff meetings, status meetings) to describe and drive continuous improvements

Facilitating team Scrum ceremonies as Scrum master across the distributed team's members and compiling agile metrics to drive insights and actions across the team

Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations in the context of complex dependencies

Contributing to the development and execution of the overall program strategy and leading the team's involvement in SAFe agile planning across a number of closely inter-related and co-working teams.

Monitoring key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

History of managing people-based consulting engagements within Fortune 500 enterprise accounts, resource management, and an understanding of people-based consulting solutions.

Strong experience managing client issue resolution.

Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills

Strong conflict resolution skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams

Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally

Strong competency in core professional skills, especially, attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact

BA or BS undergraduate degree.

A Master's Degree is nice to have.
