ABOUT THE ROLE:

Job Description:

South Region will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across South India by acquiring new customers, developing strong business pipelines, and maintaining long-term relationships.

The role requires a senior sales professional with deep industry exposure, strong market connectivity, and proven experience in RFID and EAS solutions across Retail, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Supply Chain domains.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth Identify, connect, and engage with new prospects across Retail (Fashion, Jewellery, Footwear, Consumer Electronics, Cosmetics) as well as Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Warehousing, and Supply Chain industries.

Generate customer requirements through consultative selling and convert them into qualified opportunities.

Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with regional and organizational revenue targets.

Drive end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, requirement gathering, solution discussions, commercial negotiations, and closures.

Market Engagement & Prospect Management Leverage strong market connections to access key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.

Conduct customer meetings, presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal discussions related to RFID and EAS solutions.

Identify new business opportunities through continuous market scanning and customer interactions. Represent the organization at exhibitions, trade shows, industry events, and customer forums.

Account & Relationship Management Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with prospects, customers, consultants, and partners.

Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and coordination with internal teams.

Handle customer concerns and escalations in a professional and timely manner. Sales Planning, Coordination & Reporting Prepare and submit regular sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and market intelligence to management.

Work closely with pre-sales, technical, operations, and project teams to deliver customer-specific solutions.

Support management in strategic planning and regional market expansion initiatives.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of Retail operations, Manufacturing processes, Pharmaceutical compliance, and Supply Chain workflows.

Hands-on experience in selling RFID and EAS solutions.

Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Strategic thinker with a result-oriented and target-driven mindset.

Ability to work independently and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 15–20 years of overall sales experience, preferably in technology or solution-based selling.

Proven experience in RFID and EAS sales is mandatory.

Strong exposure to South Indian markets with an established industry network.

Demonstrated success in business development, pipeline creation, and enterprise account management.

Must be ready to travel extensively, anytime and anywhere, as per business requirements.
